Whether your have a hot date or you're giving a speech to a thousand people. The tie is one of the most visible pieces of personal real estate you have. In today’s world it equals potential advertising revenue. If people pay attention to your neck-wear, then why not sell it out. Most often, when I wear a tie, I have some type of agenda. Now, I just put it right out there for the world to see.

In the past, you might wear a tie to show that you are part of a specific group or of a certain stature; some businesses still require employees to wear a tie for the same reasons. I think we should be able to control what our ties are saying and now you can.
